Dogs make big BO: "Wallace & Gromit" tops
Okay, so he's made of clay and doesn't have a mouth--he's still a dog and was tops at the box office this past weekend, so we're going to share the news. DreamWorks' "Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit" was the top film this weekend with a $16.1 million debut at 3,645 theaters. It's a somewhat modest opening, but strong word of mouth and reviews may lift it more in future weeks.
It beat "Flightplan," a film about a child missing on an airplane, by $6 million. Does this mean pets are more popular than kids at the BO?
