Rowlf the Dog (and friends) on stamps

Rowlf is not a real dog, but I think we can consider the Muppet an honorary spokedog, don't you?

If so, you may be interested to know that the US Postal Service has issued stamps bearing the likeness of several Muppets, including Rowlf. Other stamps include old favorites such as Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy, Sam the Eagle, Statler and Waldorf, Animal, Fozzie Bear, Swedish Chef, Dr. Bunsen Honeydew and Beaker, and others.

If you hurry, you may be able to get a collectible First Day Cover at the US Postal Service site. Or, just purchase a pane of 11 Muppet 37-cent stamps and use them for all of your mailing needs.
