Authorities confiscate Paris Hilton's Baby Luv

I know it's all fashionable to make fun of Paris Hilton, but this time we feel bad for her. Really.

Cold-hearted authorities confiscated her pet monkey, Baby Luv, after Paris allegedly refused to do it voluntarily. It's nice to know that the government of California is keeping the world safe from tiny little monkeys. After all, it's not as if they have other things about which to worry, such as, say, congressmen taking bribes.

According to FemaleFirst.co.uk, an insider said, "Paris adores animals but she's too impulsive and often buys exotic pets without understanding how to care for them or whether they can legally be kept as pets... She had no idea she was breaking the law when she smuggled him into LA."

Paris reportedly has a zoo-full of animals, so hopefully she and Tinkerbell aren't taking Baby Luv's departure too hard.
