Elizabeth Hurley states the obvious

Obviously Elizabeth Hurley thinks she is stating something ironic and insightful, but all I could think is "Well, duh!"

Ohio.com quotes Liz as saying, "I'd rather know the name of a celebrity's dog than his solution to the world food problem."

Isn't that a bit like saying the sky is blue? Or am I just biased because I'm a pet lover?
