Ellen DeGeneres wants Jennifer Aniston's house and dog
I'm pretty sure Ellen DeGeneres was joking, but when Jennifer Aniston appeared on Ellen's show to promote the new movie Derailed, the talk show host claimed she dumped a deal to buy Jennifer's house because she wouldn't include her dog, Norman.
DeGeneres said, "When I was thinking about buying your house I wrote in that I wanted the dog to come with it... and you wouldn't give me the dog, and so I said never mind."
Was the listing, "4 BR, 2 BA, 1 dog"?
It's not much of a news item, but you can read it here on ContactMusic.com.
Speaking of dogs, have you seen Derailed? We've love to see Jennifer enjoy a fab post-Friends career, but she apparently needs to learn how to pick movie scripts as well as she does dogs! The Hollywood Reporter says "this flaccid psychological thriller keeps spoiling its own surprise by constantly signaling the big plot twist," and it's tough to find any reviewer with a positive thing to say.
How does one make a movie starring Jennifer Aniston and Clive Owen and have it suck? Couldn't you just have these two reading phone books on screen for 90 minutes and make it a watchable hit? Maybe if the movie had a dog...
