Elvis, Dionne Warwick, & Eddie Money: Music just for your pet!
Some ideas are just so great, you wonder why you didn't think of them yourself. And here's today's terrific idea: DogCatRadio, an Internet radio station just for your pets!
The NY Times reports on the station, founded by Adrian Martinez, who is also president of Marusa records, an independent record label in Los Angeles. Martinez founded the station because "my cat, Snickers, asked me to do it." He found out his cat loved 80s rock, and now he's broadcasting online to "do something for the pet community." (The picture at right is of Martinez, the founder of DogCatRadio, with his dog, Juna.)
Tune in yourself at DogCatRadio.com. And here's hoping we don't have to hear "Who let the dogs out?" too often. At this point, I don't care who let the dogs out--can't someone write a new dog-themed song, please? Please?
