Barney and Miss Beazley demand respect!
I love dogs as much as the next person--in fact, I am sure I love dogs MUCH more than the next person--but you still have to wonder what a Marine thinks as he stands at attention for a couple pooches.
This photo was taken on New Years Day. Barney, President Bush's dog, and Miss Beazley, first lady Laura Bush's dog, are seen strolling away from the Marine One helicopter at the White House.

Just shows, you can't pick your parents and you can't pick your owners, and likewise, if dogs could talk, they might not be called "man's best friend"
