Caddyshack actress seeks lost cat
We hope this story will have a happy ending, and so does WTKR, which posted the news to their site.
For weeks a Classified ad appeared in the Daily Press reading, "Missing a loved one is especially hard at Christmas... My only wish is to get my little guy back, or to find the wonderful people who've been taking care of him."
Reporter Stacy Davis went in search of the heartbroken and dedicated cat own and found it was a celebrity, Cindy Morgan, who famously played Lacie Underall in the movie Caddyshack.
Turns out three of Cindy's cats escaped last January when a door was left open, but only two returned. Since then, Cindy has never ceased to seek her missing feline, Peanut.
It's been almost a year, and kind-hearted Cindy isn't so much looking to have Peanut returned as she is interested in hearing he made his way to a warm and loving home. "Send me a photo just to let me know what a good time he's having on your couch watching 'It's a Wonderful Life' or something," she said. "If I know he's okay, I'll have a really Merry Christmas."
The WTKR site asks anyone living in the Hamptons who recognizes Peanut to call 757-256-6172.
