Hate to see this kind of news: Jessica Simpson's dog scratched her badly enough to require seven stitches!

Jessica was in Santa Fe filming a movie when Daisy, the Maltese poodle that Nick Lachey gave Jessica for her birthday, hit her above the eye. The accident happened while Jessica was horsing around with her pooch.

It seems all will be well. According to a source, "Jessica was in good spirits and more worried about how the scar might affect filming than anything else."
