Hilary Duff and dog to hit the Web

Ever wonder what a "Hilary Duff World" would be like? Sunny? Upbeat? Set to a danceable rhythm? Interrupted with musical montages, perhaps? And there'd have to be a dog, don't you think?

No need to wonder any longer, because "Hilary Duff World" is coming to America Online Monday. AP reports that Hilary will appear on America Online's children's service, KOL where she will share her favorite books, music and movies and contribute a monthly advice column where she responds to e-mailed questions.

No "Hilary Duff World" would be complete with her Chihuahua, Lola. The dog accompanies her everywhere she goes, including cyberspace. The former Lizzie McGuire says, "I might even do something with my dog. You can do anything you want now with the Internet."

Perhaps Lola can have her own pet advice column! ("Dear Lola, My owner felt I was packing on a few pounds so she dumped me for a ferret. What should I do? Signed, Tinkerbell.")
