Peter O'Toole plays second fiddle to Lassie

Peter O'Toole is a great actor. He's appeared in almost 80 movies. He's been Lawrence of Arabia. He's been Sherlock Holmes. He's been Casanova. And he's starred in one of my favorite seldom-seen movies, My Favorite Year.

And he also happens to be a very humble guy. In an interview with the Yorkshire Post Today about his role in the upcoming movie, Lassie, he says, "Lassie isn't about me, it's about the dog."

But, he's not above pointing out that the dog isn't quite the professional that Peter is. "Admittedly the dog isn't all that good an actor – with the right cuts and the odd lamb chop we got the job done," he says
