Kristen Bell fans support Animal Shelter

Kristen Bell is an animal lover, and so are her fans! The Mars Investigations website (www.marsinvestigations.net), so named after the actress' new hit series, Veronica Mars, sponsored an online fundraiser in conjunction with the series second season opener. The Web site raised over $600, all of which was donated to the East Valley Animal Shelter in North Hollywood.

Kristen lives with a dog named Lola, a bigheaded chow-corgi mix that is the freakiest-looking dog in Los Angeles. ("People will stop me and say, 'What's with the head?'") She was a celeb judge at this year's Nuts for Mutts, a fundraiser for the New Leash on Life Animal Rescue.
