Paris needs to part with new pet kinkajou

Watch for that ad in the L.A. Times sometime soon since it appears Paris will have to part with her brand new pet kinkajou. Turns out it's illegal to keep the animal as a pet in California.

Paris will have to get rid of her pet. Or maybe she'll take off cross country in a convertible in an attempt to outrun the law--just she and her kinkajou, pursued by the Feds and the media. We can hope, can't we?

Digital Spy reports that the California Department of Fish and Game said, "We'll send them a letter just to let them know we're aware they have a restricted species."

You Tinkerbell fans may get to see a bit more of the pooch in the future! No laws against Chihuahuas!
