Prince Pauses to Pet Pooch

Apparently royalty are no more immune to cute pets than are the rest of us.

Prince Charles and his wife Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, have been touring the U.S. On a stop in the Old Western Saloon at Point Reyes Station in northern California, Prince Charles paused to pet a dog named Fred.

Fred seems like such a common name for a prince to pet. Then again, he married a commoner, so it would seem Charles is just one of the guys. Maybe he took in some American football and drank some Miller Lite in between his official visits and dog petting.
