Psychic offers insights into Madonna's dog, Chiquita
Good lord, it must've been a slow news day in Chicago! The Chicago Sun-Times actually interviewed a psychic to inquire into the state of mind of Chiquita, Madonna's chihuahua.
You think I'm joking, don't you? Well, here's the link in case you wish to verify for yourself.
The Sun-Times asks, "How does the chi-chi chihuahua feel about her place in the family?" And for the answer, they turn to Nancy Wallace, a psychic who hosts a Chicago-area radio show.
And what were some of her important insights? "Chiquita is very shy but can be very feisty." (Gee, I've never met a chihuahua like that.) And Madonna's pet, "really wants to be held and loved by Madonna." (Umm, unlike most other pets who want emotional distance from their human companions?) If these are deep psychic insights, then perhaps I should become a pet psychic.
We'll give Wallace credit for going out on a limb for one bold bit of prognosticating: "Chiquita's left hind leg could either be hurting now, or it is going to get hurt during the holidays," said Wallace. We hope she's wrong, but we'll be watching the news for updates on Chiquita.
